  Request for cleaning fee ignored. Large pile of human feces and used toilet paper next to trash can outside. Dirty dish pile in sink. Beds all unmade with dirty sheets. This was a disaster. Twain Harte vacation rentals “Kevin” ignored emails.

  We are repeat renters at this cabin. Our family loves it. Only four steps to get to the main level, which is great for my 94 year old mother. Secure and large back deck which is great for our dog, and evening gatherings. There is a large dining table inside and outside that is capable of having everyone eat at the same time, and together. Great for fellowship!! All the amenities and conveniences. This is a wonderful, charming, cabin!!

  This is a charming and wonderful Twain Harte Cabin. Nice secure deck space for pets and children. There are plenty of umbrellas and shade screen for comfortable outdoor enjoyment. The wi-fi works well for those times when you need to connect. The management is responsive, and available. The bedrooms are located on the ground floor which made it accessible for my elderly mother. The cabin was clean and tidy.

  Pearson was, in general, a satisfactory company. When we arrived they had provided sheets and towels at our request (very nice!). The refrigerator had leftovers from the last renter (not cleaned at all). Pearson sent the cleaning staff to take care of that (but how did they miss it?). We actually left the cabin cleaner than we found it. We thought we left a couple of items (including a 5 year old's teddy bear). Email and phone call asking about it went unanswered (so not so great after we left). I would give Pearson a B-. Could have been worse, but lots of room for improvement. As far as the cabin, sleeping 10 is problematic. The beds are there, but some are so close to the rafters (and immovable) pray you don't sit up in the dark and crack your head.

  Wonderful charming cabin, with lots of cabin finishes. Very clean !! Nice decor, board games, spacious secured decks- (decks plural) with large tables for family meals. Cabin is deceptively large for a two bedroom. We had six people, and never felt like we were on top of each other. Property manager was very responsive to a question after check in. Great cabin-

  We stayed for a family snow weekend with our adult children. The cabin was in a nice location, the directions were excellent and we could walk into town for a coffee in the morning. Everything was in working order - the cabin was well-maintained and clean, heating was comfortable and the firewood was appreciated. The snow could've been better for skiing though.

  The cabin is easy to find and the directions to the cabin were good, the keys were where it said and the lockbox was easily opened and I get the cabin door open. The cabin was smaller than I expected to accommodate 6 adults and 4young kids but we were happy to be there having a great time together for 2 nights.
  We were told that we can check-in early so we arrived at around 1pm (the weather was really bad that day and we were happy that we can get there early) but about 1.5hrs after we got in the cabin, there were 2 maintenance men came in to change the dishwasher! Why the management picked the day they are to have guests coming in when they could have picked the day before to have the dishwasher changed since the cabin would have been empty of guests, I don't know,incompetent, I guess. These 2men didn't leave until around 5pm!!
  Because there weren't any instructions on how to connect to the wifi at the cabin, I called the host and he was just a nasty human being, not only he didn't know where the instructions were at the cabin he picked the wrong wifi network and when I can't connect to the wifi, the host made me and my son felt we were the inadequate one but in fact he doesn't know what he is talking about. He could have just told me the instructions are on the side of the refrigerator! We found the instructions all by ourselves!
  There is a loft inside the cabin and it was freezing cold up there for there wasn't any heater up there. I'm sure when it's summer time it'll be very hot up there too!
  Would I rent from this host again? NO!

  The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars is because there is no AC and the loft gets really hot on hot days. Other than that the place was very clean, location was perfect (minutes from downtown area and casino), lots of space, especially the patios. I would definitely rent this place again.

  My family and I as well as family friends spend 3 wonderful evenings at this cabin. It appears that the bathrooms and kitchen were newly remodeled. We stayed during an unusually heavy storm that brought a lot of snow to Twain Harte. The power went out the last night we were there but that was expected. The wood burning stove kept us warm. The cabin is a short walk to down town which has a grocery store, restaurants and a great thrift shop. We intended to ski and Dodge Ridge but the roads were pretty treacherous. We decided to stay in town and sled instead. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again. The cabin is cozy and will fit 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably.

  We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin with all the modern conveniences but rustic touches. the location was nice, close enough to town to walk to the park and businesses.
  The layout of the rooms was excellent, two nice bedrooms downstairs for the adults and four twin beds in the loft for all of the kids. The two decks were nice and at the back of the cabin was a play area with a swing that kept the kids outdoors and entertained.
  We visited Jamestown, Leland Snow Park and Pinecrest this trip. Locally, we were regulars at the Twain Harte Market and pharmacy. We went to the park and hiked the flume / waterway area off Middle Camp Rd. We spent money at The Rock restaurant and the Walk In Closet, two can't miss recommendations.
  I have been booking cabins at Twain Harte for 30 years and this was definitely a favorite! I only book pet friendly because my dog loves Twain Harte too!

  We come to Twain Harte every Christmas. This cabin was just right for our family and walking distance to the local restaurants for dinner. The long table dinner was perfect for us to play board games on. The only thing I wish could be added are shower heads with handles to wash my four year old daughter's hair.
